MANAN – The Psychology Society of Department of Applied Psychology was founded on 14th January, 2014 with an aim to channelize the creative energies of the students towards learning and knowledge. The student team of MANAN comprises of six members – President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and two council members. The Society has organized an international conference on “Indian Mind and Societal Concerns – An Interdisciplinary Dialogue” (2-3 April, 2016), invited many eminent scholars for lectures, conducted workshops, departmental fests and other activities to promote academic understanding as well as psychosocial values. We aim to enhance the role of co-curricular activities and give students a platform for discovering new avenues. Our students have won prizes in various extra curricular activities such as singing, sports, during the Annual College Festival/Sports Day and in various extra curricular activities during Annual Festivals of other Colleges. Some of the recent ventures of the Department with the help of MANAN are as listed below:

• National Seminar on “Adolescents Life Style and Health” (20 September, 2017).
• Workshop on “Career Pathways in Psychology” (20 August, 2017).
• An invited lecture on “Orientation to Psychology” (03 March, 2017).
• An International Conference on “Indian Mind and Societal Concerns – An Interdisciplinary Dialogue” (2-3 April, 2016).
