There are fifteen Departments in the College. These are the Departments of Applied Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Environmental Science, Hindi, History, Management Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physical Education, Political Science, Punjabi and Statistics.
The college has 2611 students. (2017-18). Of these 1102 students are from outside the city of Delhi. 32.7% of these students are women.
The administrative organisation of the college is divided into four sections. These are Accounts Section, Administrative Section, IT Section and Library Section.
There are 17 Centres and Cells in the College. They are Centre for Ethics and Values, Human Rights Studies, Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Applied Mathematics and Research, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Social Innovation and the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Kaushal Kendra. The Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) of Ramanujan college is a part of the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The TLC is mandated to promote on a continuous basis the Learning of new pedagogical practices, methodology of forming discipline-specific curricula and creating new learning material. TLC Ramanujan has conducted 24 programmes till now and trained more than 1300 participants.
