At RAMCOMM – The Commerce Society of Ramanujan College, we believe in fostering leadership, teamwork, and professional growth among commerce students. To ensure the smooth functioning of the society and the successful execution of our initiatives, we conduct an annual recruitment drive for both office bearers and general members.

Who Can Apply?

RAMCOMM is exclusively open to students from the Commerce Department of Ramanujan College. Whether you're a first-year student looking to gain experience, a second-year student eager to take on more responsibilities, or a final-year student ready to lead, there’s a place for everyone in our society.

Office Bearers & Roles

The core leadership team consists of carefully selected office bearers who play a key role in organizing and managing society activities. The following positions are available:

  • Student Coordinator (3rd Year only) – Leads the society, oversees all activities, and ensures smooth coordination between faculty, office bearers, and members.
  • Deputy Coordinator (2nd Year only) – Assists the Student Coordinator and gains leadership experience to take on future roles.
  • Treasurer (1st Year only) – Manages financial records, budgeting, and expenses of the society.
  • Executive Heads (Open to all years) – These positions are assigned to oversee specific functions such as Events, Marketing, Public Relations, Content Creation, and Sponsorship.

Apart from these office bearers, students can also join as general members and actively contribute to the execution of events, workshops, and initiatives.

Recruitment Process & Timeline

📌 Recruitment takes place annually at the beginning of the academic session.
📌 The selection process includes:

  • Application Form Submission – Candidates provide details about their skills, experience, and interest in RAMCOMM.
  • Interviews & Task-Based Assessment – Shortlisted applicants are evaluated on their leadership potential, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Final Selection – Based on performance, students are appointed to their respective roles.
