Teachers like Dr. Gurcharan Singh Nahar, Dr. Jasbir Singh, Prof. Jagbir Singh, Prof. Manjit Singh,  Dr. Gurcharan Singh, Dr. Narinder Singh have maintained the relevance of this Department through their teaching from time to time. We are trying to encourage our students to study Punjabi as subject and language. Department is also keen to play a meaningful role by engaging it’s students in literary activities from time to time. Now We have started career oriented papers like Media, Film-Study, Lexicography, Drama and Theatre. Punjabi department organizes Inter-college competitions, National and International seminars/Webinars time to time. Our students  also take part in different activities like Bhangra, Singing, Poetry, Paper writing in College and Inter-College competitions. Department of Punjabi offers AEC, GE, MIL, Skill Enhancement  courses in B. A. Program and B. Com. Program.
