The Department has been constantly engaged in organising different faculty enrichment programmes under the banner of Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan college which functions under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching scheme of Ministry of Education.

Few programmes which have been organised are:

  1. One Week Faculty Development Programme on Transforming Governance in India: Issues and Concerns, organised by Department of Political Science, Centre for Human Rights Studies and the Teaching Learning Centre, (Ramanujan College), in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, Ram Lal Anand College – 21 – 27 September 2020
  2. Impact of Covid 19 on Global Politics and Role of Literature, organized by Teaching Learning Centre, (Ramanujan College), Entrepreneurship Cell, the Department of Punjabi and the Department of Political Science (Ramanujan College) – 27 – 28 June 2020
  3. One Year of the Abrogation of Article 370: Implications and Outcomes, organized by Teaching Learning Centre (Ramanujan College) and the Department of Political Science (Ramanujan College) – 5 August 2020
  4. Two-week Faculty Development Programme/ Refresher Course on “Blended Learning: Alternative Dimensions,” January 12 – 29, 2021

The Department has also organised excursions and interactive sessions/lectures for students on different themes. Some of the programmes organised are:
