RamComm is among one of the largest commerce societies in Delhi University with a diverse pool of talent and a dedicated marketing team. The Commerce Society has been known for surprising and achieving new heights with a team of 76 members, including 12 core members from various academic fields. The crown jewel is a great online presence. The society is present on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn with combined followers of more than 11,000 people. In this terrible period, RamComm chose a bit more optimistic approach and conducted three amazing events and more yet to come. RamComm also organizes seminars related to personality development, career planning, MBA.
COMDEZVOUS 2020
Furthering its zeal for organizing events of unscaled heights and pinpoint precision, RamComm organized the 3rd edition of its annual fest COMDEZVOUS 2020 – On 3rd & 4th March. Day 1 of COMDEZVOUS 2020 witnessed two events of great proportions being organized – BOOM MERCHANT & HEIST WITH FRIENDS. Students from across the University and beyond participated in huge numbers to take away prizes worth Rs. 3 Lacs on offer.
On Day 2 of COMDEZVOUS 2020, RamComm hosted its much-awaited YOUTH CONCLAVE 2.0 – A platform which brings together luminaries and pioneers from across fields onto a common platform to address and interact with the youth.
YOUTH CONCLAVE 2.0 was hosted by star anchor Digital Gandhi and saw personalities like Sushil Pandit, Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj, Vaibhav Kanwar, Ujjwal Kumar and the star attraction of the evening, comedian Akash Gupta coming together to provide the 1000+ audience with the two things they need the most- Knowledge & entertainment.
COMDEZVOUS 2020 was a watershed event in the history of Ramanujan College and wrote a tale of RamComm exceeding expectations – A testament to its legacy.
Finanza Battle
As the name suggests, the event was conducted to determine and improve the knowledge of Finance and Investment of the participants. The event was conducted on 3rd October 2020, on Google meet. There was an investment battle, in which the participants were given case studies of various companies whose finances were not handled properly. The contestants were to come up with unique strategies and ideas for their respective companies.
Vyapaar- Bazaar Ka Adhaar
On 26th of October 2020, RamComm commenced with its biggest 5-day online event “Vyapaar- Bazaar Ka Adhaar” based on the theme “Entrepreneurship”. The event was a three-round competition with the prize money of Rs 10,000 and goodies worth Rs 80,000. The event saw great participation with 52 teams participating for the same. Round 1 namely “Risk Ready” was an elimination round where the market knowledge of the participating teams was tested. Round 2 of Vyapaar–Bazaar Ka Aadhar namely “Research and Development” took place on 27th October 2020 through google meet. This round was to judge how efficiently the teams manage and utilize the resources provided to them. On 30th October 2020, Round 3 of the event namely “PITCH PERFECT” was conducted. 7 Teams which qualified were allotted different sectors and were given a time of 2 days to come up with a unique and creative startup idea in the assigned sector.
