The SC/ST Cell at Ramanujan College has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Its primary purpose is to ensure the welfare, equity, and inclusion of students and staff belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The cell is committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters equality, dignity, and respect for diversity within the academic community.

Objectives:

• To address and resolve grievances related to discrimination or injustice faced by SC/ST students and staff.
• To ensure effective implementation of UGC and government guidelines related to SC/ST welfare.
• To foster inclusivity and sensitization among the entire college community.
