Initiated in 2019, FinJan is a student-led organization committed to empowering individuals to navigate the intricate realm of finance with acumen and make sound decisions regarding their personal finances. The members firmly believe that having a rudimentary knowledge of finance is essential for all individuals, regardless of their field of study.

Team Finjan strives to cultivate financial aptitude among young individuals through events, workshops, and industry collaborations, closing the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience.

Through FinJan, we aspire to empower students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in finance and investment. We aim to cultivate a community of financially proficient individuals prepared for success in the dynamic world of finance.

Our mission of promoting financial literacy is reflected in the range of initiatives we undertake. These initiatives include organizing guest lectures and intra-society competitions, offering masterclasses, and providing course materials on numerous topics such as financial markets and risk management. We also arrange doubt sessions to support our members' learning needs. Moreover, the members of the society are encouraged to participate in inter-collegiate competitions. These initiatives play an instrumental role in creating a conducive environment for budding finance enthusiasts.

FinJan - The Finance and Investment Cell of Ramanujan College organized the Trading Titans Bootcamp on the 1st and 2nd of June 2023. Spread over two days featured Mr. Jaskirat Singh Gujral of Financial Adda and Mr. Vibhor Varshney the founder of Vignahara Solutions. The primary purpose of the boot camp was to provide aspiring traders with insights into the trading world and the skills and knowledge required to succeed in financial markets. The Bootcamp comprised 4 carefully devised sessions, each covering different domains necessary to thrive in the competitive realm of trading.

In the spirit of promoting its core values and vision, Team FinJan also organizes its annual flagship event Rendezvous. Rendezvous is a celebration of our society and our members' hard work, dedication, and contributions to our goals. The Event, through the years, has been a huge success, comprising enriching speaker sessions with notable personalities along with mind-bending competitions that compel participants to rely on their knowledge, skills, and instincts to get through the exhilarating rounds of the game.

• Rendezvous 2023 was a veritable feast for finance enthusiasts who were looking to test their skills, knowledge, and expertise in a series of challenging competitions that spanned the entire gamut of finance-related fields. Divided into three main categories, Margin Call, Finlathon, and Finance Challenge, the competitions were designed to test the limits of participants' abilities and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent.
• Rendezvous 2022 featured two mind-bending competitions that put the participants' skills to the test- The Big Short: a classic mock stock that challenged the participants to make strategic investment decisions and navigate the volatile stock market to emerge as the ultimate winner. and Vishleshan, a case study competition that tested the participants' strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  In addition to the competitions, Rendezvous 2022 also featured insightful speaker sessions that brought together a plethora of industry experts from the fields of Business, Finance, and Economics.
• Rendezvous 2020 was a week-long virtual conclave, the largest of its kind in the country. It was an interactive symposium of virtuosos, filled with the exchange of ideas between curious students and prominent speakers such as Nikhil Kamath the cofounder of Zerodha, and Mr Krishnamurthy Subramanian, the former chief economic advisor of India.
