Is old age that phase in a person’s life, where he must simply relive his past glories, retrospect his actions and waste away precious time, awaiting his final moments? Or can it also be a time to build new relationships and cross all things off one’s bucket list?

Set in an old-age home, “Bali aur Shambhu” is the story of an unlikely friendship which blossoms between two completely distinct personalities.

Shambhu, an irascible man who visits his dream world repeatedly and struggles with keeping up with his reality, now has to come around to accommodate the gregarious Bali, who is forced to find a refuge in the old age home because his family doesn’t want him.

Everything, ranging from Shambhu’s misconception about his son-in-law, Shubhankar to his love for his daughter – Titli, seems to tumble down with time.

Street plays

Synopsis

The present population has started to pursue pleasure with a breathless haste and all the changes today seem to be happening at too fast a pace.

We don’t realize that most of our choices that involve immediate reward come with some harm but our desire to take the path of least resistance is too strong that we keep following our bad habits and those nearly effortless gestures make way for an unhealthy body and mind and ultimately end of life, death.

Optimizing time management and balancing professional and personal life is the need of hour. We miserably fail to have our own formula defining the composition of career, family, friends and self into our integrated whole. Our busy lives have led to social isolation and henceforth, the human bodies today, suffer with several lifestyle diseases.

We intend to prevent the deterioration of mental and physical health with the changes in our lifestyle or we may end up losing the very essence of our lives.

Synopsis

“Our nature towards nature has provoked the nature to make a call for the natural benefit.”

But unfortunately, this cry for help has been turned down by us for ages, due to which the “social” animal has even been forced to speak the unspoken norms, and limit the shortcomings of the society, but even that is not enough.

Being civilized and sensible citizens of a country is not just limited to not litter or follow laws. It involves taking full responsibility of our actions and showing a sense of awareness towards it.

Blaming is an essential ‘adaptive strategy’ – Reflexive and ‘Primitive’ but we have started a chain of running away from our responsibilities and playing the ‘Blame Game.’ This nature of ours has led to a wave of destruction, which is ultimately going to come for us.
