Ramanujan College Library formerly known as Deshbandhu Evening College Library is one of the oldest among Delhi University college libraries. It came into existence along with the foundation of the college in 1958. Ramanujan College Library is fully Air conditioned and computerized. The library is open to bonafide students of all the classes. All important textbooks are kept in library. There is a well equipped Reading Room, which subscribes to a large number of dailies, weeklies, periodicals and journals on a variety of subjects.
Students, teachers and non-teaching members of the staff of the college are entitled to become member of the library.
• For Under Graduate Students 3 Books 10 Days.
• Teaching Staff 35 Books 30 days.
• Non Teaching Staff 10 Books 30 days.
It is to assist users in getting their required information and make full use of the resources in the library. It includes:
• Guidance in the use of information resources and services.
• Instructions for accessing on line library resource provided by University Computer Centre
• Including OPAC, e-journals.
The OPAC allows you search for an item of your choice in Library holdings by Author, Title, and Keyword etc.
Three Computer Terminals have been placed for students for accessing Internet and 4000 E-Journals (approximately).
